Please consider supporting our future priests through prayer and financial gifts to this appeal.
A strong brotherhood of committed priests strengthens our Church and ensures that the Good News of Christ is lived and proclaimed for generations. MEET OUR SEMINARIANS
"The cost of forming each seminarian exceeds $60,000 annually, covering nine years of education, spiritual growth, and pastoral training. It’s a challenging path but one filled with joy, camaraderie, and a deep commitment to leading and serving in the image of Jesus Christ. Your prayers and support make all this possible. By investing in the education of our future priests, you are ensuring they are equipped to embrace their vocations and serve the faithful of western Oregon." - Fr. Peter Julia, Director of Vocations
Seminary is where future priests are formed in mind, body, and soul to become more like Jesus Christ. It's a journey of joy, camaraderie, and deep learning, providing the best formation the Church offers. To become a priest, a man needs a college degree, two years of Philosophy study, and four years of Theology study. Additional training is tailored by the Vocations Director. Seminarians lead busy lives, balancing rigorous academics with daily prayer, Mass, spiritual direction, and pastoral assignments.
